Who We Are
Founded by Bill Khoury, Jr. in 2001, after 10 years with Pan American World Airways and Flying Tigers, and 15 years in freight forwarding with Emery Worldwide and his own company, Carinter Miami, PHS developed a reputation as the premier perishable cargo handler at MIA, landing contracts with the major carriers, such as British Airways World Cargo and American Airlines Cargo, and performing seasonal contracts with Iberia, Alitalia and China Air.
In 2002, both American Airlines and British Airways decided to enter into more dedicated relationships with PHS, as AA developed the “AA Cool Cargo Program” with specific service parameters for their customers. BAWC awarded PHS with the General Handling Agreement (GHA) contract for perishables, and soon after awarded PHS the Interline, Mail and Security contracts.
In 2010, PHS was named BAWC’s GHA for the Miami station, encompassing all of British Airways cargo handling requirements, including Security, Health and Safety, and Government Agency liaison.
In Nov 2011, PHS took on their own facility over 42,000 sq ft in Building 702 at the Miami International Airport, to be the General Handling Agent for both Cargo Iberia and British Airways World Cargo.
